From a NY designer, this is a stretch matelasse' knit with a crinkled surface texture. The color is dark navy (PANTONE 19-4014-ish), and it is a medium-weight knit, opaque with a s oft drape that has some body. It has about 30% stretch in the width, 40% in the length (so you may want to cut your garment across the grain).
