From a NY designer, this is a wonderful silk stretch woven (25% widthwise stretch with perfect recovery) with an edgy inkblot design (24" repeat) in inky black and taupey gray (PAN TONE 14-0105, etc.). The fabric has a very cottony texture (unusual for silk) which is quite compelling, and it is lightweight yet opaque with a soft drape.
