Archer Clean/Color Boost is a clean version of the Archer based on an effect discovered by chance while experimenting with increasing and decreasing the gain during the development of the original Archer. When the load on the clipping diode is reduced, a bell-ringing clean sound or a color boost sound can be obtained depending on the setting of the COLOR control. The feel is surprisingly dynamic and it works great as a booster. The center color control allows you to control the midrange without significantly increasing the gain. It offers a wide range of expressive power, from beautiful clean sounds to rock 'n' roll sounds that drive the front end of the amp.
