This is a wonderful textured knit matelasse', a somewhat sweatery dress/suiting weight with about 15% stretch in both directions. It has a cozy feel to it without being scratchy or wooly, and it has a soft drape. The yarn-dyed black and silvery-white abstract design has a mottled, textured look witha 2-ply construction.
