Emperor V1 was released in 2014 as a 100% analog chorus/vibrato with tap tempo, and in 2018 it was finally updated to Emperor V2. The JHS Pedals Emperor Analog Chorus/Vibrato pedal is a vintage-collected effect that perfectly recreates the unique sound of the Arion SCH-1, while also serving as a versatile modulation pedal capable of producing everything from subtle, lustrous chorus to rotary simulation and undulating vibrato. In addition to the warm '80s-style analog chorus pedal sound provided by the BBD 3207 chipset, we've added onboard and outboard controls that give you full control over the Emperor V2's voicing options. Whether you want a warm tone or a cool, lustrous sound with a natural, spacious stereo sound, or you want a realistic rotary speaker sound for blues gigs using an external expression pedal, the Emperor V2 can do it all.
