[From “7QS-H (Hida)” to “7QS-R (Circular Recycling)”]Keeping intact the “Seven Qualities” that the 7QS series prides itself on, the main leather uses steer hide (leather from mature cattle) raised through circular agriculture linking crop and livestock farming.The production area is Shibetsu City, Hokkaido. Manure from livestock farmers is turned into fertilizer at JA’s composting facility and provided to crop farmers. Crop farmers grow wheat, beans, corn, and fodder grass; products that meet standards go to the table, while non-standard items are returned to livestock farmers as feed.The hides of beef cattle raised within this circular system are carefully tanned in Himeji and finished into GANZO’s original leather.Cattle raised in Shibetsu grow in a cool environment with few insect bites even in summer, resulting in beautifully fine grain.In addition, the interior materials have been upgraded this time.
