Oh my gosh, I wish you could see this in real life! It has such subtlety of color and shading, making it difficult to capture in a photograph. It's a jacquard brocade from Italy, w ith an elegant abstracted floral design in shades of stone, warm gray, etc. in a complex weave that creates shadings and color mixes that are soooo beautiful (PANTONE 14-0000, 16-4702, 19-0415, etc.). I believe it is over-printed with an etchy abstract which adds even more dimension and interest. There's a slight bit of surface texture...a twill weave around the flowers that helps to define them.
