Matrix ColorInsider 5VR is an ammonia-free, oil-delivery permanent cream hair color in Medium Brown Violet Red, formulated for professional colorists rather than as a no-mix, at-ho me product. Its Color Injection (ODS2) technology uses oil instead of a high-alkaline base to carry pigment into the hair's core, delivering up to 100% gray coverage while limiting stress on the cuticle.Because it's a true oxidative permanent color, ColorInsider must be mixed with its own dedicated ColorInsider Oil-Cream Developer in a 1:1 ratio -- it isn't designed to work with another developer or on its own. A patch test at least 48 hours before application is required, since the formula contains oxidative dye ingredients that can trigger allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Matrix has discontinued the ColorInsider line, so shade and developer availability are limited to remaining stock. Show more
