Bromeliad Guzmania is a stunning tropical plant known for its vibrant, long-lasting blooms and striking foliage. Native to rainforests, it adds a touch of exotic beauty to any indoor space with its colorful flower spikes and glossy green leaves. Light Needs: Place your Bromeliad Guzmania in bright, indirect light. They can tolerate some morning sun but avoid direct sunlight, which can burn their leaves. Ideal locations include near east or west-facing windows where they receive filtered sunlight. Water Needs: Keep the central cup (the rosette where the leaves meet) filled with water at all times. Change the water weekly to prevent stagnation and rotting. Additionally, water the soil lightly, keeping it consistently moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Humidity Needs: Bromeliad Guzmanias thrive in high humidity environments. Aim for humidity levels around 50-60%. You can increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly or placing the pot on a humidity tray filled with water and pebbles.
