A traditionally designed cottage stable door with six clear double-glazed panels, in a warm oak face. The two halves open independently or together as a full door. About the 6 Panel Cottage Stable Six clear double-glazed panels bring maximum light to this cottage stable design. As a stable door, the top half can open on its own for ventilation or to keep pets and children in while letting light and air through, or both halves can swing together as a standard door. It makes an ideal back or garden door. Engineered oak construction This door is a white oak veneer over a solid engineered core, dowel jointed for strength. The engineered core keeps the door stable through the seasons and resists the warping and twisting solid timber can suffer on an exposed elevation, while the oak face keeps genuine oak character. It is supplied sanded but unfinished, ready to seal in your chosen finish, and can be trimmed to fit the opening. Glazing The door is supplied pre-glazed, with its factory clear double-glazed units already fitted, so there is no separate glazing to arrange. The clear sealed units bring plenty of daylight into the entrance along with the insulation of double glazing. Finishing & Care Made for outdoor use but best fitted in a sheltered spot, under a porch or canopy, rather than fully exposed to driving rain or strong sun. As it is supplied unfinished, protect every face and edge with a treatment made for external doors before it is hung; we recommend the Impranol range for external doors. Oak Weather Bar We also supply an Oak Weather Bar to match, which will be needed if the door is open to the elements.
