6000 LLU MAX - MAX-Design, Radial Suspension Bearing - 10mm x 26mm x 8mm -Enduro Bearings pioneered MAX type bearings over 20 years ago for bicycles to address the challenges assoc iated with mountain bike pivots. MAX-type bearings provide 35-40% more load capacity than standard radial bearings by utilizing a special design where the maximum number of balls are inserted into the bearing, via a custom ground slot in the races. The additional balls, combined with deep race grooves in these bearings providing greater lateral support for the twisting and multi-directional forces associated with mountain bike pivots. This bearing features deep-groove design races, with Grade 10 balls and full-contact, double-lip, labyrinth (LLU) seals for maximum protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of Almagard extra high pressure grease inside.This bearing has been used as a suspension pivot bearing by a number of bicycle brands.The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD15 with ceramic or stainless balls.
