The pattern itself is somewhat unusual: reminiscent of houndstooth, though not quite the same. The cut is typical of the era, with relatively narrow lapels, minimal shoulder padding, and a slim trouser silhouette. The jacket is single-breasted and fastens with three buttons. It features horizontal front flap pockets and a breast pocket. The back is straight and has double vents. It is fully lined and includes a single interior pocket on the right-hand side. The waistcoat is single-breasted with six buttons and four front pockets—two at the chest and two lower ones.
