Los Cabos, a stick manufacturer based in Brunswick, Canada's east coast, was founded in 2005 and has since become known for using high-quality wood. Their products are now sold worldwide. Red Hickory is made from the dark center of the hickory tree, meaning it is the oldest part of the tree, which makes it denser, more durable and flexible. It is ideal for hard hitters or those looking for more power without changing stick size. The color of red hickory varies depending on the mineral content of the soil where the tree grows. For this reason, no manufacturer has traditionally used it for drumsticks. In fact, this model features a variety of sticks in colors ranging from light tan to a beautiful deep brown.
