It accurately detects nuances in words and difficult pronunciations. The MG12, MG15, and MG18 all use a cardioid microphone that detects sound, eliminating the interference of indoor noise and allowing only sound to be recognized. This gooseneck microphone is also available in a hypercardioid version with a frequency response of 0Hz to 19kHz. This allows for a cleaner and more natural sound. The gooseneck system utilizes a sophisticated dual preamp circuit: one in the grille housing and one at the base of the XLR. This configuration provides excellent sound balance and eliminates hum and noise. This gooseneck can be mounted using the included mount (TM1218) or in combination with the separately sold shock mount (SMT1218R). Additionally, by combining it with the AUDIX ATS10 table stand, it can be controlled with an ON/OFF switch. The body is made of durable brass, and by combining it with separately sold accessories, the range of uses can be expanded. Phantom power is compatible with 18-52V.
