AER pocket tools -dual mix- is a 2-channel preamp mixer that uses the preamp from the COMPACT 60, a representative AER lineage. ●dual mix2 product overview The DUAL MIX was released three years ago as a standalone model with the preamp section of AER's best-selling acoustic amplifier, the COMPACT 60 (commonly known as BINGO), housed in a compact body. Its quality and ease of use made it an instant best-seller. The revived DUAL MIX 2 now features new features and a two-channel preamp that can handle instrument/line inputs and microphone signals, boasting quality that makes it an ultra-compact mixing console. ●dual mix2 new features 1. High-Pass Filter One of the new features, the high-pass filter, was added at the request of a professional guitarist. He creates his stage sound by combining two sources, one picked up by the guitar's magnetic pickup and one picked up by a microphone, using a dual mix. However, the sound picked up by the microphone can tend to sound boomy depending on the environment, and it is often difficult to achieve a good balance with the pickup. The addition of the high-pass filter has solved this problem, allowing him to achieve a satisfying guitar sound. 2. Double Preamp Another new feature is the inclusion of two line outs. As before, you can output a mixed signal from one line out, but by connecting a jack to the other line out, you can enter double preamp mode, where two channels are output independently. The units function as two independent preamps. In this case, the line out will not have any effects applied (though they will be applied to the DI out and headphone out). Also, the signal from the AUX in will not be mixed. Dual Mix 2 Control Section [Channel 1/2 section] Gain: Adjusts input gain. Line/mic switch: Switches between line and mic inputs.
