Recorded across several formats, including digital, analog reel to reel, and cassette tape, da Costa threw out any production rules he may have held, emerging with a record that's luminously reflective, sonically revelatory and raw. The album's deep emotional transparency stems from the idea of a “no send letter”: the concept that you can write down everything you truly want to say to someone with no filter or hesitation.
