★Three lineups to suit different speaker sizes ■ISO-130 (pair set) Dimensions: 130W x 152D x 71H (mm), 210H (mm) when using long pipe ◎Maximum tilt angle: 6.5° ◎Weight limit: 9kg Isolation: Three elements are important for accurate monitoring: speaker placement, focus, and isolation that match the listening position. The ISO speaker stands designed by IsoAcoustics make these possible. Newton's third law states that when one object acts on another, there is always an equal and opposite force acting on it. Of course, audio speakers are also affected by this law. When the speaker cone is driven, it moves air forward, which in turn moves the supporting structure, such as the enclosure, backward with an equal force. Excellent isolated design based on Newton's third law ISO Speaker Stands are designed to absorb on-axis energy while resisting off-axis energy, effectively isolating the speaker from the desktop, shelf, or other surface, preventing the speaker cabinet's energy from transferring to the surrounding area. Allowing the speaker to function in a free space allows the speaker to reproduce its natural sound. This results in more precise and satisfying sound in both mixing and listening. ●Stand configuration: The isolator shape, volume, and durometer (hardness and density) are balanced to achieve efficient isolation. The tapered opening and concave end, combined with the support rods, resist forward and backward movement and vibration. As predicted by Newton's third law, when the speaker cone moves forward, the speaker enclosure tends to move backward. Therefore, the enclosure and the upper part of the stand move in a direction that resonates with the sound source. The top and bottom elements of the speaker stand provide torsional rigidity to the entire speaker stand. The rectangular shape makes it easy to understand when deciding on the front surface of the stand. The lower element is the most visible part of the stand. This frame provides a strong and secure base to hold the assembly in place. Its shape ensures that the isolator is inserted correctly. Elastic material covering the opening maintains optimal mass. Top Element: The top element is where the speaker actually sits. The cup shape of the flange creates a suction cup-like effect that resists movement or slippage between the speaker and stand while under compression. This is especially important if you're using an angled setup. About IsoAcoustics IsoAcoustics designs premium speaker stand products for professionals and audiophiles alike. Their first model, the ISO Speaker Stand, provides superior acoustic isolation and improves sound clarity for all speakers, including studio monitors, home theater systems, and public address systems. The adjustable speaker stand design was made possible by Dave Morrison's unique approach, which comes from his long history of studio design and construction at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Canada's public television and radio station. Dave Morrison states, "Speakers perform best when properly positioned and free from mechanical interference. Foam pads and floor stands provide some isolation, but they are compromises and difficult to tune and position optimally for today's studio environments. ISO Speaker Stands, more than any other speaker stand system, are the perfect blend of ergonomics and acoustic science." ■Included items and setup (ISO-130, ISO-155, ISO-200) The IsoAcoustics ISO Speaker Stand comes with four pipes of two different lengths to determine the height, and two insert parts of two different heights to adjust the tilt angle. You can assemble it using these parts depending on your speakers and listening position. Insert parts can be used to adjust the angle of inclination slightly and set to two different heights. When assembled with short pipes, the stand height is approximately 71mm for ISO-130, approximately 76mm for ISO-155, and approximately 95mm for ISO-200. Insert parts can also be used to tilt the stand to the optimal listening angle. When assembled with the long pipes, the stand height is approximately 210mm for ISO-130, approximately 210mm for ISO-155, and approximately 215mm for ISO-200. Insert parts can also be used to tilt the stand to the optimum listening angle.
