As an HVAC technician, you know that a failed indoor blower motor during peak season is a high-priority call. The Nordyne 622264 Motor is the definitive OEM replacement for the aging 622264R models, commonly found in Intertherm and Miller electric furnaces and air handlers. Built by Broad Ocean (Part #Y7S623D01), this PSC motor provides the reliability required for continuous-duty residential split systems and mobile home configurations like the E1EB and E2EB series. Operating at 208/230V with a 2.5A draw, this 1/2 HP blower motor features a standard 48-frame residency and a 3-speed configuration to allow for precise airflow balancing across different ductwork static pressures. This 1100 RPM motor is designed for CCWLE rotation (Counter-Clockwise Lead End), ensuring direct compatibility with original blower wheels. To protect the windings and extend operational life, we recommend always replacing the run capacitor (typically 7.5 ?F / 370V) during the installation of any HVAC blower motor. Key Benefits: Universal Compatibility: Direct drop-in for Nordyne, Miller, Intertherm, and Gibson air handlers using the 48-frame 1/2 HP specification. Enhanced Airflow Control: 3-speed taps allow technicians to optimize performance for heating, cooling, and fan-only modes. OEM Durability: Engineered by Broad Ocean for consistent thermal performance in high-demand furnace cabinets. Simplified Retrofit: Replaces the 622264R with identical mounting geometry, reducing time spent on-site. Common Questions: Can I use this motor to replace a 622264R? Yes, the 622264 is the direct factory-authorized replacement for the 622264R. What is the shaft rotation? This motor is rated for CCWLE (Counter-Clockwise Lead End) rotation. Does this motor require a new capacitor? While a capacitor is not included, it is industry best practice to install a new 7.5 MFD 370V capacitor to prevent motor damage and ensure proper starting torque.
