Marine Dreams is a record of modern pop songs written by former Attack in Black bassist, songwriter, and lyricist Ian Kehoe. Recorded in two separate sessions in the home studio of former bandmates Daniel and Ian Romano, these songs are grandiose and intricate in the midst of a seeming simplicity, occupying a strange and unlikely emotional space balanced between the astral plane and life's sudden dark truths. These are bubble gum pop songs if Werner Herzog wrote bubble gum pop songs.
