From a NY designer, this poly/cotton lace is lovely! The fibers create a very open lace, like and embroidery without the backing. The pattern is a stylized floral in black, white a nd light, silvery gray (PANTONE 14-4103), and it's quite open, drapey and modern. This lace is photographed on a white background to show the open weave.
