624780 Nordyne Outdoor Ambient Thermistor OEM outdoor temperature sensor used in Nordyne / Intertherm / Miller heat pump systems to provide accurate ambient temperature feedback to the defrost control board. This thermistor allows the system to determine outdoor conditions, calculate defrost timing, and maintain proper heating performance in cold weather. A failed sensor can cause improper defrost cycles, long run times, or error codes depending on the control board. The 624780 Nordyne Outdoor Ambient Thermistor is the OEM temperature sensor used on Nordyne, Intertherm, and Miller heat pump systems. This sensor monitors the outdoor air temperature and sends accurate data to the defrost control board, ensuring proper defrost timing and reliable cold‑weather performance. A failing ambient thermistor can cause incorrect defrost cycles, reduced heating output, or system error codes. This OEM replacement restores proper system operation and is a direct plug‑in match for units using the 624780 sensor. ⚙️ Technical Overview Attribute Value Part Number 624780 Type Outdoor Ambient Thermistor Function Measures outdoor air temperature for defrost logic Application Heat pumps (Nordyne / Intertherm / Miller) Reset Type
