Seymour Tubis This 1946 portrait study in charcoal and watercolor is by Santa Fe artist Seymour Tubis (1919-1993). Tubis studied at the Art Students League with Hans Hofmann (1946- 1949). He exhibited in Paris in 1950 and won praise from Georges Braque. He was Chair of the Fine Art Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe (1963-1980). 1946Watercolor & Charcoal on Paper 19.5"x25" unframed Singed, dated and titled on the bottom.
