Seymour Tubis This 1978 abstracted landscape painting is by Santa Fe artist Seymour Tubis (1919-1993). Tubis studied at the Art Students League with Hans Hofmann (1946-1949). He ex hibited in Paris in 1950 and won praise from Georges Braque. He was Chair of the Fine Art Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe (1963-1980). December 1978 Acrylic on Paper 30"x22" unframed Initialed and numbered 12/78 on the lower right. Excellent vintage condition. Show more
