A fantastic Lo-Fi delay with beautiful feedback oscillation! We've taken Death By Audio's (DBA) flagship delay, the Echo Dream 2, and removed the fuzz and modulating sections, stripping it down to a simple lo-fi delay. The fantastic delay sound, which is created by setting the feedback to a slightly oscillating state, creates a distinctive acoustic space that is unique to the MICRO DREAM. The feedback sound is low-pass filtered and fades away in a fantastical way, creating a dreamlike floating sensation. Furthermore, the design deliberately pushes beyond the limits of IC component performance, resulting in a long delay with a unique instability and noisy sound. The strangely off-key tone further pushes MIDRO DREAM's lo-fi, gritty sound. To make it easier to control the oscillating sound by increasing the feedback, the DELAY knob can be used to adjust the volume of each delay sound individually. It pairs perfectly with fuzz and distortion pedals, adding a unique delay sound to everything from dreamy playing to intense noise performances. The MICRO DREAM allows you to adjust the "point at which feedback begins" using an internal trim pot. This design, which emphasizes delay feedback, will be a delight for noisy musicians. You can adjust the feedback to suit your style, such as setting it to occur early or to not give feedback until later (this feature is not available in ECHO DREAM 2!).
