VOLUME Distorting the sound compresses the signal, reducing the output level. You can adjust the output level with this knob, but be careful not to turn it up too much and disturb your neighbors. Mid-range characteristic selector switch: You can switch between three types of mid-range characteristics, which are the deciding factor in distortion tone.
