I Fabbri Chianti Classico "Terra di Lamole" 2021 is a blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo from organically farmed vines planted in the mid-1980s at 550 meters elevation on sandy soils in Lamole, Greve in Chianti. Grapes were hand-harvested and fully destemmed. Fermentation with native yeasts occurred in stainless steel vats and lasted four weeks, including four weeks of skin maceration. The wine was aged for 12 months in a combination of concrete tanks and 500-liter French oak tonneaux of 2nd and 3rd use. Tasting Note: The nose reveals raspberry, violet, and red cherry. The palate is medium-bodied and structured, with fine tannins and balanced acidity.
