This is an exquisite silk satin face organza made in Spain, heavier and more opaque than regular organza. Still it is lightweight and semi-sheer with a crisp drape and a smooth tex ture. The border print, which runs along one selvage and extends 32" into the width of the fabric, is a painterly floral in amber, grenadine, leafy greens, butter and soft black (PANTONE 17-1558, 14-0837, 17-1028, etc.). You can orient your pattern pieces either way (shown both ways below). It is a special occasion fabric would make a stunning dress, gown, pouffy skirt, over-jacket, etc. Some styles will need lining or layering.
