This is a wonderful Italian 4-ply microfiber print from M@x Mara, which is also described by the supplier as "scuba"... but I would say it's also much like a "matte hybrid". It is a micro-woven with about 15% widthwise stretch, and is medium weight, stable and opaque with body in the drape. The edgy print has floral silhouettes on an abstract ground (43.5" repeat), in newsprinty black, white and gray tones. An extremely versatile weight, it could be used equally well for a dress, tunic, skirt, stretch pants, jacket, etc. Patterns that call for ponte, scuba, 4-ply stretch crepe, etc. would be suitable for this gem.
