The Double Ended Wolff Wand provides specialized fixation targets used in various procedures such as retinoscopy, cover tests, and ocular motility. Various techniques employ the wa nds to evaluate accommodative lag, anisometropia, near point convergence, tracking, peripheral awareness, and saccadic eye movements. The Double Ended Wolff Wand has a 1/2" (13 mm) polished brass ball on one end and a silver nickel-plated ball on the opposite end of a 14" (35.6 cm) steel rod.
