Hail to the fabric gods who created this most exquisite silk! It's one of the most beautiful fabrics I've ever seen... I bow down to its sheer magnificence (oh, a pun!..because it is, in fact, a bit sheer). It is a very fine Italian silk jacquard with an intricate wavy pattern in the weave, and very, very fine weft fibers that I believe are yarn-dyed, not printed. The warp fibers are also very fine, but white, and this mixing of berry tones with the white creates a smokey, ethereal essence that is absolutely heavenly. It has a 35" vertical repeat and a soft and floaty drape. The colors range from pink to raspberry, fuchsia to eggplant (PANTONE 18-3230, 16-2111, 19-3619, etc.). It is lightweight and delicate, yet has a certain body in the hand (a bit hard to describe).
