A grand concert-sized pure acoustic guitar model. Featuring a U-shaped neck with a firm, comfortable grip and a body made from carefully selected, high-quality tonewoods, along wit h a traditional neck joint and bone nut and saddle, Artwood is Ibanez's acoustic guitar series that pursues a clear sound and superior playability. The AC340 is the successor to the AC240, a comfortable grand concert-sized pure acoustic guitar constructed entirely of okoume wood for the top, back, and sides. Okoume wood has acoustic properties similar to mahogany, and is characterized by its warm, full sound. The top, back, and sides are made of okoume wood, which has sound characteristics similar to mahogany (body top: solid wood, back/sides: plywood).
