Seymour Tubis Entitled Storm at Sea II, this 1990 ink, watercolor and pastel abstract is by Santa Fe artist Seymour Tubis (1919-1993). Tubis studied at the Art Students League with Hans Hofmann (1946-1949). He exhibited in Paris in 1950 and won praise from Georges Braque. He was Chair of the Fine Art Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe (1963-1980). 1990 Ink, Watercolor and Pastel on Paper18"x17.75" framed, 10.5"x10.25" unframed Good vintage condition. Framed in a contemporary wood frame with a brushed metallic finish and black sides using archival museum-style matting behind conservation clear glass. Show more
