Tubis studied at the Art Students Lea gue with Hans Hofmann (1946-1949). He exhibited in Paris in 1950 and won praise from Georges Braque. He was Chair of the Fine Art Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe (1963-1980). 1950 Charcoal on Paper 19"x24.75" unframed Signed and dated lower right.
