Tingsha (Tibetan bell) Tingsha from the MEINL Sonic Energy line. These cymbals are manufactured using authentic techniques, faithfully recreating the classic Tibetan cymbals. Consisting of two thick metal plates on either end of a string, the cymbals can be struck together lightly to produce a bell-like sound. The pitch difference between the two cymbals is set one octave higher than the brain's alpha state, and hearing the sound each cymbal shares through its overtones and the leap between the two tones makes it easier to enter into meditation. The Tingsha is used to release blockages in the environment as well as in one's own vibration.
