It is made in pieces and sewn up. A second option is given for sleeveless tank top with the same cabled front and armhole bands. This design will fit babies from newborn through to 3 years. Uses the soft and gentle, French DMC Baby Cotton or any suitable double knit or 8 ply yarn. Rated "intermediate" skill level. Contains 4 sizes from newborn to under 3 year olds. Cable Gauge measures 20 stitches (8cm) over the cable panel. The rest knits to a gauge of 22sts x 28 rows to 10cm, over stocking stitch using 4mm needles.
