On first use, set the radio's output power between 20-30W. Avoid high-power tuning to prevent damage. Set the radio to FM mode. Select the desired antenna band and use 20-30W power in FM mode. Activate the radio PTT and monitor the tuner’s PWR and SWR values. Use the ATU TUNE button: a short press (1 second) initiates tuning. If the SWR exceeds 2.0 during transmission, the antenna is detuned. Hold the ATU TUNE button to adjust and monitor SWR. If SWR is greater than 3.0, do not exceed 30W.
