The Mule humbucker faithfully recreates the best-sounding late '59 PAF pickups, with each coil featuring a different number of turns of vintage-style 42AWG plain enamel wire, providing excellent clarity and extended dynamic range. Every detail has been accurately reproduced, including the nickel silver base plate and cover, maple spacers, and Fillister No. 5 pole screws. By using an Alnico IV magnet, it has excellent bass response, a rich midrange, and easy-to-control high frequencies.
