Producer Scotchmans Hill is situated on the Bellarine Peninsula and has been operating for forty years. It is rated among the top 100 wineries in Australia by James Halliday and is one of the largest wine producers in Geelong. In 2014, Scotchmans Hill underwent a change of ownership which led to substantial investments in the vineyard. As a result, they now produce several wine labels including Jack Jill, Swan Bay, and Cornelius. Tasting Note This wine has ripe plum, white pepper, cocoa, and spice flavours, complimented by a well-integrated oak influence and fine grained tannins. 15% of the fruit was left as whole bunches for fermentation, 30% was vinified in new French oak, and the rest was old. It's open and plush and ready to be enjoyed.
