The Jeff Archer is a modified version of the Archer, a popular pedal released by Jay Rocket Audio Designs, a high-end pedal brand from California. The Jeff Archer is based on the Archer model and tailored to the tastes of the world-famous British rock guitarist, and has been similarly modified using rare parts and the same components that are incorporated into his live touring gear. With its unique overdrive tone and boost capabilities, this pedal has captured the imagination of players such as John Mayer. While the circuit board is based on the Archer, some of the parts used have been changed to create a different sound. This versatile overdrive/clean booster pedal has ample headroom and is designed not to be drowned out by other instruments. The controls are comprised of three: output, treble, and gain. The gain control allows for a seamless transition from a high-quality clean booster to an overdrive. The output control is also very effective, resulting in a very powerful and articulate sound.
