The Crybaby Mini series, which is convenient for building compact pedal boards, is adding a guitar wah pedal with an auto-return mechanism similar to the company's 95Q. The same four controls as the existing CBM535Q allow you to tune your sound to your liking. The Range Selector lets you choose from four sweep ranges, from a warm vintage sound to an aggressive modern sound. The Q Control lets you vary the wah sound from a narrow bandpass with emphasis on high harmonics to a wide bandpass with emphasis on low harmonics. The Volume Knob adjusts the amount of boost when the boost is on, and the Boost Switch turns the boost on and off (the LED lights up when the boost is on). While its housing is roughly half the size of a standard Crybaby, it boasts full-fledged specifications, including a red Fasel inductor. The effect automatically turns on when you press the pedal, and when you release your foot, the pedal lifts up with a leaf spring, automatically turning the effect off. This eliminates the need for switching, allowing you to enjoy wah playing more intuitively.
