This is an absolutely stunning viscose jacquard brocade woven from a very, very famous designer, made in Italy, a dress/suiting weight with a soft drape, a twill weave and a dressy sheen. It has a woven-in floral design (10" repeat) in silver, taupey gray, black and shades of green on a medium blue background (17-4336, 14-4203, 16-5930, etc.). Because of the fiber content and weave, the grain is a bit unstable, so lots of pinning or thread tracing will keep you on grain and assure accurate cutting and seaming.
