Rainer's vision/innovation with this wine for Troupe is to carve out a new style of Lemberger (aka Blaufränkisch in Austria). This grape usually makes fuller styles that are rich in tannin and are fruit-forward. His aim was to select grapes from across his vineyard sites that would give a light and elegant wine with high acidity and a reductive nature. It provides an overview of the farm as a whole.This is for the Pinot Noir and crunchy red fans and is perfect served chilled. Great with charcuterie and fatty meats. ———Troupe is the new wave négociant which celebrates the experiments of winemakers that would otherwise be blended away into oblivion.
