Seymour Tubis This 1947 abstracted seascape etching entitled Lackawanna Ferry is by Santa Fe artist Seymour Tubis (1919-1993). Tubis studied at the Art Students League with Hans Ho fmann (1946-1949). He exhibited in Paris in 1950 and won praise from Georges Braque. He was Chair of the Fine Art Department at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe (1963-1980). 1947 Etching on Paper 7"x5" unframed Signed, dated and titled on the bottom. Edition 9/17. Good vintage condition. Show more
