An interface that allows you to connect 5-pin MIDI to any TRS MIDI device. The Morningstar MIDI BOX is an interface that converts devices with TRS-type MIDI inputs to 5-pin MIDI. It has 8 outputs in a small package. 5-pin MIDI input is converted to 3.5mm TRS MIDI output and sent to eight isolated outputs. Many TRS-type MIDI devices have their own unique reception methods, making them a hurdle when building a system. The MIDI box's output ports can be configured with internal jumpers, allowing for flexible compatibility with TRS MIDI devices, including BOSS, Empress Effects, Chase Bliss Audio, Jackson Audio, Cooper FX, Meris, and Bondi Effects. 5-pin MIDI thru is also provided, allowing for easy integration into a system. ■FEATURES 8 ISOLATED MIDI OUTPUTS - Eight isolated 3.5mm TRS MIDI outputs are provided, maintaining full MIDI signal strength. SWITCHABLE PORTS - Ports 1-6 are tip/ring selectable via internal jumpers, compatible with all TRS MIDI devices. *Ports 1-6 can be set to MIDI via tip or ring. Ports 7-8 are fixed to MIDI via tip or ring floating. 5-PIN MIDI IN - Compatible with MIDI controllers and devices with a standard 5-pin MIDI output. 5-PIN MIDI THRU - The input MIDI signal is simultaneously sent to the 5-pin MIDI THRU, contributing to system construction. INDICATOR LED LIGHTS - Two independent LEDs allow you to check the operation of the MIDI BOX and the reception of MIDI signals. SUPER COMPACT - With a compact size of 117mm x 40mm x 40.5mm, it's the perfect match for any pedalboard and is compatible with a wide range of setups, including under-board placement.
