Hiwonder 6-Channel PWM Digital Servo Tester The Hiwonder 6-Channel Digital Servo Tester is a standalone, hands-on tool for testing and positioning compatible PWM servos without writing code. Six high-precision knobs provide direct manual control, while the button below each knob returns its channel to the neutral position. It is suited to servo setup, robot arms, grippers, educational projects and bench testing. What It Does Controls up to six PWM servos: each channel has its own high-precision potentiometer for direct angle adjustment. Manual and neutral modes: turn a knob for manual positioning or use the channel button to return the corresponding servo to its center position. Fine PWM adjustment: official specifications state a minimum PWM change of 1 µs, corresponding to up to 0.09° control accuracy. Three protected ports: channels 0, 1 and 2 include over-current protection. Standalone operation: no PC software, programming workflow or external microcontroller is required for manual servo testing. Ports & Protection The tester has six three-pin PWM servo interfaces, numbered 0–5. Each uses the standard positive, negative and signal arrangement. Only ports 0, 1 and 2 are identified by Hiwonder as having over-current protection; ports 3, 4 and 5 do not have that stated protection. Keep the servo load within the capacity of the selected power source and disconnect power if a servo is mechanically stalled. Six-Servo Manual Setup Connect compatible PWM servos to the numbered ports and use the six potentiometers to adjust the corresponding positions in real time. The connection illustration shows six servos for demonstration only. Servos, horns and cables shown in the image are external components and are not indicated as included with this tester. Manual Positioning & Neutral Reset In Manual Mode, the position follows the corresponding control knob. Press the button below the knob to switch that channel to Neutral Mode and return the connected servo to its center position, specified as 90°. This makes the board useful for setting linkage center points before final assembly. Power Guidance Use a regulated 5–8.4V DC supply through the board's power input, choosing a voltage that matches every connected servo's rated requirements. Hiwonder demonstrates both a lithium battery and a power adapter connection. Do not exceed 8.4V, observe positive and negative polarity, and use a suitable voltage-reduction method when the connected servo's rated voltage requires it. No. This is a manual tester for compatible three-wire PWM servos. It is not a serial bus servo controller. Can it connect to an Arduino, Raspberry Pi or PC for programming? No. The board is designed as a standalone manual servo tester and does not provide a programming or serial-control interface for external controller integration. How many channels have over-current protection? Three channels: ports 0, 1 and 2. The remaining ports can still control compatible servos but are not identified as protected ports. What voltage should I use? Use 5–8.4V DC and match the input to the connected servo's rated voltage. Do not exceed 8.4V or reverse the power polarity. Are the servos and battery in the images included? No. They are shown only as connection and application examples. The official product page does not state a packing list, so confirm the order contents before purchase.
