If you like to ride in a rope halter or like to start your young ones in a rope halter but don't like tying one end of a lead to the jaw loop or the bulk of a mecate then this is a great solution. Far more secure and safe then just tying or clipping two lead ropes to the loop and this won't have a clip swinging around under your horses jaw either. These 6ft split reins are super easy to attach and detach, have no hardware to rust, break, annoy or injure your horse and come in the standard 6ft length with leather poppers.
