6in high Finishing Press made in solid Beech. This press can be reversed for use as a Lying Press. It also can be tilted at 45 degrees when working. Press cheeks 150mm x 40mm (nomi nal 5in x 2in) 38mm (1 1/2in) diameter thread 500mm (18in) wide 340mm (13in) between threads One of our most popular projects, designed with the help of a well known designer bookbinder. It is useful for working on the spines of bindings as it can be tilted so the work is facing you.
