The SMAI Boxing Ring Canvas has been manufactured from heavy weight, non-slip canvas. With all seams double stitched for reinforcement, the canvas is stretched over the fight area of the boxing ring. Velcro tabs extend from the edge of the canvas, to secure down to the frame of the boxing ring. Simply undo each strap, feed under the ring frame and secure the velcro again to itself. The outer perimeter also has Velcro tabs along the seams in order to easily attach the side skirt around the perimeter of the boxing ring. Please note: the measurement is from parallel side-to-side with corners pre-cut primarily suited to SMAI designed boxing rings. Compatibility SMAI boxing ring canvas are designed to the 2022 onwards range of SMAI boxing rings from 2022. Before purchasing if you are attempting to fit this to an older ring or build your own project please make sure the fixing method will work with your ring structure before purchase. Installation instructions Lay out the canvas over the ring floor, spreading it out to all edges.Undo the velcro straps, and feed all straps loosely under the boxing ring frame. Do not pull tightly until all velcro straps are attachedMove around the canvas, tightening 1 strap at a time, moving to the opposite side each time. This ensures even tensioning. Failure to tension the velcro straps in this order will result in uneven and difficult-to-fit canvas. Specifications 6m x 6m is the size the canvas is suited to fit. The canvas measurement is approx 5.95 x 5.95 and will stretch when under tension when installed on the boxing ring, to create a tight fit.
