Officially Licensed USMC 6th Engineer Bn Patch — 6th Engineer Support Battalion Embroidered Patch We Are Ready — 6th Engineer Battalion, building the way. The 6th Engineer Support Battalion is a United States Marine Corps combat engineer unit within the Fleet Marine Force, providing general engineering, construction, and combat engineer support to Marine Air-Ground Task Forces. Marine combat engineers are among the most versatile Marines in the Corps, trained to build roads, bridges, and fighting positions; breach obstacles and minefields; construct expeditionary airfields and forward operating bases; and provide water purification, bulk fuel distribution, and explosive ordnance disposal support. The 6th Engineer Support Battalion's motto, "We Are Ready," reflects the unit's commitment to being prepared for any engineering mission the Marine Corps requires — from combat engineering under fire to humanitarian construction projects in the aftermath of natural disasters. Engineer Marines are the quiet professionals who enable the infantry to maneuver, the artillery to occupy firing positions, and the logistics chain to function. This officially licensed embroidered patch represents the engineers who build, fight, and sustain — often in that order — ensuring that the Marine combat force has the infrastructure it needs to win. Perfect For: 6th Engineer Support Battalion veterans and active-duty members, Marine combat engineer community personnel, Fleet Marine Force engineers, construction and breaching specialists, and military patch collectors who value the essential role of combat engineers in Marine operations. We Are Ready — 6th Engineers build the path to victory.
