Jasmine Parsia made this work during one of her stays at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, on one of the large and inspiring rock ledges down at the waters edge. (Those who have been to Haystack know exactly what we are talking about here!!) How suiting then for this calming and gestural monotype to make its way into the Rock Show! Lucky for me Jasmine has been coming up to the area to attend workshops over the last several summers and we have been getting closer and closer with each visit. Usually some sort of cooking or sunbathing is involved, and always laughter. She is also deeply spiritually connected to my dog Bird.
